InformaCast is an emergency notification and incident management platform. It is one of the only notification systems that offers the ability to reach all of an organization’s on-site and mobile devices with critical messages in a variety of ways. Live and recorded audio, SMS text, email, visual alerts and more can be sent to mobile devices, desk phones, speakers, overhead paging systems, desktop computers, digital signage and more. Messages can be built to provide clear instructions and groups can be defined so the right people receive the right messages. Messages can include to links to join virtual collaboration spaces like Webex, Microsoft Teams and Zoom so key stakeholders can quickly gather, assess a situation and deploy a response.
InformaCast Fusion also offers one of the widest arrays of triggering options so mass notifications can be sent the instant something goes wrong. Panic buttons available as hardware devices, virtually programmed on phones and computers, and mobile apps offer one-touch solutions for sending out alerts. Monitored RSS and CAP feeds can be configured to automatically trigger alerts when certain criteria are met, and IoT devices with contact closures can be integrated so when the contact closure is tripped messages are activated. This helps organizations leverage every channel available, so notifications get sent out quickly and the widest possible audience receives the message. Using messages that include text, audio, and visual cues also help make messages intrusive so no matter where someone is or what they are doing they see or hear the message, stop what they are doing, and take action to stay safe.
These alerting features form the core of InformaCast, which also includes incident management capabilities that do more than just send out messages. While alerting people is important, it’s only one part of a safety plan. InformaCast incident management helps make safety plans actionable by moving them out of binders and into the cloud so they can be accessed and utilized from anywhere. In addition to all the alerts an organization would need, they can also upload and access resources like safety checklists, floor plans, and links to security camera feeds. Resources can also be uploaded in real-time to show things like pictures of intruders and provide additional context around an event.
InformaCast also offers robust reporting features so organizations can analyze how effective their notifications were in reaching people and devices once an incident has been resolved. Identifying issues can help organizations build more effective response plans so they can continue to enhance safety. - Visitor Aware
Visitor Aware is a visitor and student management tool from Singlewire Software. Visitor Aware provides schools and other organizations the tools to screen visitors so they can identify threats before unwanted guests gain access to sensitive areas. Visitors have their IDs scanned when they enter a building. That information is used in conjunction with encrypted facial recognition to screen visitors against national sex offender and government watchlists and active legal injunctions. Potential issues are flagged to prevent guests from further entering a building, and approved guests are given a printed pass so they can proceed. Visitor Aware also offers tools for volunteer management, tardiness tracking, secure student release and pick-up, rostering and reunification, and setting up a tip line for potential threats.
